- Welcome to Ireland First (eirefirst.com)-

- Special Notice -

A previous version of this website exists here.
It contains ALL of the material available on this site - PLUS LOTS MORE!
I had intended to add the information available on the previous site design to this site design
but never got to it. However, I have decided to at least make that information available
to visitors of this site. By all means have a look here, but don't forget to check out the rest of the information available at the old site (still hosted here). - Thank you.
- Important website update information -

Dear website visitor, as of Nov 2nd, 2009, this website is in the
process of being redesigned and updated. The redesign includes a new
navigation system to make this site easier to use and share with friends
and/or social networking sites. No advertising banners or google ads or popups
will appear on this website, I promise). I also intend to make it lighter on grapics
so that it delivers the information that you want faster than before. I will
update the information available on this website as well as add some new stuff
and remove some of the old/broken stuff. The redesign has already began and will take at least a couple of weeks as of the above date to complete. When it's complete, this website will be updated with the new design replacing the old one.
If you have any comments, requests, or questions, please use our new interactive
Ireland First! forum here).
At this point, I would like to apologise to those of you who emailed me questions
and did not recieve an answer. Any further questions should be posted on the forum
where they will be seen and possibly answered by myself or other visitors/readers
of this website.
Thank you for visiting Ireland First!, I hope you find
the information you are looking for, if not use the Ireland First! Forum to request that
information be included in a future update to this website.

To navigate around this website, please use the menus that appear
on both the top and bottom of all pages on this website. Thought it
may seem tricky at first, you will soon find this is a very easy website to
navigate. NOTE: Only menu itmes in green are
currently available. The items in Grey will become
available as soon as possible. I apologise for the inconvienence.
"I speak to my people, and I speak in my
people's name to the masters of my people. I say to my people that they are
holy, that they are august, despite their chains, That they are greater than
those that hold them, and stronger and purer, That they have but need of
courage, and to call on the name of their God, God the unforgetting, the dear
God that loves the peoples For whom He died naked, suffering shame. And I say
to my people's masters: Beware, Beware of the thing that is coming, beware of
the risen people, Who shall take what ye would not give. Did ye think to
conquer the people, Or that Law is stronger than life and than men's desire to
be free? We will try it out with you, ye that have harried and held, Ye that
have bullied and bribed, tyrants, hypocrites, liars!" - Excerpt from "The Rebel" by Patrick Pearse.
"Self-government is our right, a thing born in
us at birth. A thing no more to be doled out to us or withheld from us by
another people than the right to life itself - than the right to feel the sun
or smell the flowers, or to love our kind. If it be treason to fight against
such an unnatural fate as this, then I am proud to be a rebel, and shall cling
to my 'rebellion' with the last drop of my blood." - Roger Casement made from
the dock of the Old Bailey.

The leadership of Oglaigh na hEireann has
formally ordered an end to the armed campaign. This will take effect from 4
p.m. this afternoon. All IRA units have been ordered to dump arms. All
volunteers have been instructed to assist the development of purely political
and democratic programs through exclusively peaceful means. Volunteers must not
engage in any other activities whatsoever. - PIRA statement July 28th,
2005
